Cheap raids don't have to mean weak raids. The SR-3M is proof of that, especially if you like playing solo and hate watching a pricey kit disappear after one bad corner. It hits hard enough to make geared players nervous, handles quickly indoors, and leaves room in your budget for ammo, meds, and extraction tools. That matters more than people admit. A sensible SR-3M setup can also help you bring home valuable Delta Force Items without gambling your whole stash on one raid.
Why the SR-3M feels so good on a budgetThe base gun is usually affordable, and that changes how you play. You're not treating every footstep like a disaster. Build it for control first, then stop. A basic grip, a practical sight, and attachments that help recoil are enough for most runs. Skip the flashy laser and the ultra-expensive optic unless you've already got credits to burn. The SR-3M isn't a long-range monster, sure, but that's not really its job. In hallways, stairwells, warehouses, and those messy extraction fights, it comes alive. Keep fights close or medium range, aim for quick bursts, and don't give an M7 player the distance they want.
There's a nice mental bonus too: when the rifle is cheap, patience becomes much easier. You can wait, listen, and let other squads make the noise.

Let other teams create the openingThe smartest SR-3M raids often start with doing almost nothing. Hear two squads fighting? Don't rush straight into the room like everyone else does. Sit one angle away. Watch the exits. Count reloads, heals, and footsteps if you can. After a long fight, the survivors are often split up, low on plates, or staring at loot menus. That's your window. One clean close-range pick can turn into a full kit, a premium armour swap, and a weapon worth more than your entire loadout. Still, don't get greedy. If you've taken down two geared players and your bag is stuffed, leaving is usually the better play. Kills look nice. Extracted loot pays for tomorrow's raid.
Small habits that protect the profit1. Check exits before touching a dead player.
2. Drop cheap items before taking rare attachments.
Loot like you actually want to extractInventory decisions get weird once you're overloaded. A bulky rifle may look impressive, but a few rare attachments, premium plates, and tactical devices can be worth more per slot. Break down what you can. Replace low-value ammo or junk meds. Don't cling to your own cheap gear if a better armour piece is right there. Weight is the other problem. Use a booster before the final run, slow down near extraction, and assume somebody is waiting behind the obvious route. Players who want to gear up faster sometimes look at Delta Force Items for sale as well, but the SR-3M still proves that sharp decisions can beat an expensive build.
Quick rules for the next SR-3M run1. Fight indoors whenever possible.
2. Extract after the first major haul.
